Within the framework of the Eighth Annual Assembly of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) which will be held in Brussels on November 28, Crimean journalist Nikolay Siemiena will be awarded with Pavel Sheremet Prize.
As Krzysztof Bobinski, the Co-Chair of the EaP CSF Steering Committee, said the decision on giving the award to Nikolai Siemiena was taken by the Steering Committee of the Forum “in recognition of the fact that he was not afraid to risk his freedom and security, upholding freedom of speech in Crimea”, reports “Krym. Realii”.
An invitation to the awarding ceremony was handed over to Nikolai Siemiena through his lawyers.
