EU extended personal sanctions against Russian citizens because of Ukraine

The European Union for six months has extended individual sanctions against individuals and legal entities “for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.”

This was reported on Thursday in Brussels, Radio “Svoboda” reports.

The sanctions list includes 170 citizens of Russia and Ukraine, as well as 44 legal entities. Sanctions provide for the freezing of their assets and the prohibition of individuals to enter the EU.
