Nariman Aliyev’s film received a new award

The film directed by Nariman Aliyev “Evge” (“Homeward”) received the national award of film critics of Ukraine “Kіnokolo” in the nomination “Best feature film.”

The director himself also received an award in the nomination “Best Director”. In addition, the Ukrainian actor and film director Akhtem Seitablaev won the nomination “Best Actor” for his role in the film “Homeward”.

The film of Nariman Aliyev was included in the list of nominees for the Oscar. The film also received the Grand Prix of the X Odessa International Film Festival.

Aliyev’s film participated in the Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard contest and won the Best Film Award at the Bucharest International Film Festival.     

As you know, the film “Homeward” by Nariman Aliyev tells us the story of a father and youngest son – Crimean Tatars – who were carrying the body of the eldest son who died in the war of Donbas back to Crimea.
