Rustem Eminov

Rustem Eminov was born on April 13, 1950, in Parkent village of Tashkent district. A big family of Eminovs was deported here in May 1944. In 1953 this family moved to Tashkent.

Restem Eminov graduated from the department of the Art Graphic of Tashkent State Pedagogical University by Nizami (1973). From 1988 to 1999 he had been working as a senior teacher at the drawing and painting faculty. From 1999 to 2004 he had been working as a teacher of the highest rank at the Tashkent Art College by P. Benkov and at the same time at the Republican College of Design by A. Hodzhaev in Tashkent. Since 1975 Rustem Eminov has participated in more than 80 art exhibitions held in Uzbekistan and abroad. He was a participant of the first exhibition of Crimean Tatar artists that was organized in 1990. In 1993 Rustem Eminov participated in the decade of Crimean Tatar literature and art in Kyiv. In 1988 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, in 1992 he became a member of Creative Union of Artists in the Art Academy of Uzbekistan. Since 2005 he is a member of the National Union of Artists of  Ukraine. In 2007 Rustem Eminov won the prize of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. His masterpieces were included into the Collections of the State Museum of Arts and the Directorate of Art Exhibitions and Panoramas of Tashkent (Uzbekistan), into the collection of the Museum of the Crimean Tatar Heritage, the House-museum of Gasprinskiy in Bakhchisaray. Some of the works were sold to the collectors from the USA, Israel, Malasia, South Corea, Australia, and Turkey.
