“A Gift To Cengiz Dagdzhi, the owner of the everlasting voice of the Crimean Tatars”

Ankara has organized a presentation of the book “Gift Cengiz Dagdzhi on the 100th anniversary of the birth.” The book, published by Bengu in 2019 and prepared A lion Synar Ugurlu and Selcuk Kyrlya, was presented at the Cultural Center Kabakchi April 19, 2019.

The event, jointly organized by the Union of Writers of Eurasia and Bursskim department Turk Odzhaklary made a speech in memory of Cengiz Dagdzhi, president of the Union of Writers of Eurasia Yakup Omeroglu, President Türk Odzhaklary Prof. Dr Mehmet Oz, a former president of the Crimean Association of Tuncer Kalkan, President Bursskogo department Turk Odzhaklary Prof. Dr Selçuk Kyrlya, one of the editors of the book Dr A lion Synar Ugurlu.

This book was prepared in collaboration with 36 academicians.

The book consists of two parts: “In the first chapter, the material prepared by Turkish academics, a total of 22 academicians from different universities. In the second chapter, the material prepared by academics from the Turkic world, only 14 academics from the Crimea, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. “

One of the editors of the book Alev Synar Ugurlu noted that the second part of the book is very important to them: “It is possible, in our book, the academics, being outside of talking about Cengiz Dagdzhi Turkey for the first time”, – she said. Also speaking about him, Ugurlu mentioned that he really survived the “terrible years”, and wrote all the memoirs that he kept in his memory, all about his homeland, namely about the whole Crimea and described Cengiz Dugji as the “eternal voice” of the Crimean Tatars, and the academics who contributed to the book described Dugji as the voice of all Muslim Turks.
