Five Are Detained After Searches In Crimea

On Tuesday, March 12, searches were conducted in seven Crimean Tatar houses, initiated by Russia’s FSS (Federal Security Service).

Five people were detained as a result: Enver Mustafaev, Seytumer Seytumerov, Osman Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Rustem Seytmemetov.They were taken to the FSS office.

As noted by Russia’s FSS press office, the detained are suspected in  “conducting active recruitment of Crimean Muslims and spreading terrorist ideology”. It is pointed out that criminal cases are already opened, but investigations are still ongoing.
